Ruth Marie Mackrodt has a background in finance, property and construction. She has recently converted a 200 year old Pembrokeshire barn using fully sustainable design principles and has a wealth of knowledge in property investment and the protection of asset value through sensitive retrofit.
Ruth Marie leads the innovation projects for Wool Insulation Wales and is also CEO of our sister company Wull Technologies.
Mair Jones comes from a farming background stretching back many generations. She worked for a number of years in transport & logistics before moving into the sustainability sector in housing.
Mair was determined to explore new applications for Welsh wool that challenged the norm whilst improving the return back to the agricultural communities of Wales.
Based in Swansea her family run Welsh Mountain ewes and a small flock of Ryeland x Dorset's who happily featured grazing in the background of our Circular Economy film back in 2023!
